Thanksgiving in Cali

Everyone LOVES Mazie!
The cousins!

Maddie was fascinated with the stone "babies"
After Thanksgiving photo.

I know I have been the world's worst blogger. Life has been a little crazy the last few months. Not a good excuse though. But I managed to take some pics on our trip to northern california.
We went to visit Joe's side of the family (mom, sisters, cousins, uncles and grandpa) Madelyn Sue is not a very good traveler. She was okay on the actual drive (she did have her moments) But boy oh boy does that little girl sleep like crap at someone else's house. I don't plan any vacations anytime soon! Mom and dad were totally exhausted. But all in all we had a good trip. Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic. The William Sonoma deep fried turkey was the hit of the party. We got to meet Madelyn's newest cousin baby Nathan. He is 3 weeks old and the cutest little guy. Maddie got to spend time with her two other cousins Ava and Alex. There was quite a bit of fighting the first couple days but then they adjusted well. Miss Madelyn is quite the bully. She spent a lot of time in time-out. Which she didn't mind at all! Can we say Joe's daughter?

Anyways, we are gearing up for Christmas. The first one at home in 2 years! My mom and 3 out of my 4 siblings are coming as well. It's going to be a blast. Time to get the tree and all the lights up. :)

Shannon and Adam's Wedding 9-19-09

The really "shy" bride

Beautiful Barn

She stole the moment!

My new brother-in-law

Happy family

Okay... So i've been a terrible blogger lately! I'm about a month late on this one. :)
Last month we flew to Colorado to watch my sister get married. It was such a great experience we had both sides of the family...weaver and horne sides together in one house. Also, a visiting Brand from Bend! It was a blast for everyone to be together to celebrate.
First, let me start off by saying my sister was a gorgeous bride... and only a little crazy. (love you shannon) The ceremony was amazing- they had a friend officiate and Shannon said some really sweet loving words to her new step-son, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Then came the party. They had a big empty barn that we decorated with lights, oriental lanterns, and flowers. I must say it looked amazing (since I was part of the decorating committee). I can't wait for the professional pictures. Anyhow, the party was a blast I think everyone was on the dance floor till the DJ stopped playing. Even the grandparents.
Oh, and I did a speech (which I was very nervous for- so compensated with wine) and when I said they needed to get working on giving maddie a cousin.... Madelyn broke out laughing and clapping- EVERYONE was busting up.
I'm very happy for my sister and Adam... They are going to have a wonderful life together. I'm glad Shannon found someone that makes her happy and can put up with her family!
Love you guys! See you at the USC v Ducks game in a couple weeks. The Trojans are going down!!! (Had to gloat a little since the Broncos are killing us!)

Stay tuned for the next post... Pumpkin patch and Halloween outfit. (maybe in a month or so...)

Summer's winding down

Maddie is obsessed with her belly button
Maddie and I on the ATV.. she was trying to make it go!
The happy family... Look at my spoiled dog! She rides there the entire time.
I just want to bite those cheeks!
The handicap swing.
I have mixed emotions that summer is finally winding down... on one hand I'm happy that all the festivities are winding down... but then I'm super bummed that it's going to be winter for 10 months! Bend's winters are painfully LONG for a SO CAL girl.
Anyhow.... I took Maddie to the park off of Reed Market.. Such a cool little park. Anyhow, she just LOVED it.... Following all the little kids and her favorite was riding on the "handicapped" swing. I thought it was the coolest thing and then I look up and see the sticker!
Then we decided to go out to the ranch for 2 days. Boy what a difference 7 months makes. She was only 8 months the first time we went and all she did was sit in the grass... This time she loved to run around see the horses and most of all ride the ATV with daddy. Even when we stopped she didn't want to get off. She had a huge grin the entire time. Not to mention she can even climb up into the chair and "try" to turn the key... She is too smart for her own good. Next time she will be taking it out by herself.
Anyhow, things are going well... getting excited to leave for Denver next week for my sisters wedding! It's going to be a blast. :)

5 Year Anniversary!

Tom. 8-28-09 is our 5 year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's been that long. I love Joe more now then I did the day I married him. We have grown so much together and laughed and cried through the past 5 years. Even though he drives me crazy I wouldn't change a thing. We are such a great team and have an absolute blast together. I couldn't imagine my life without him. And our beautiful Madelyn Sue. She is the best of both of us (or the worst) she is a handful that little one but has the biggest heart. She is amazing... thank you Joe for being a great husband and a wonderful father. I'm so lucky to have you in my life- you make me take life a little less serious and gave me the best little family a girl could ask for. Love YOU! This picture I posted is one of my favs of Joe. It shows just how loving he is... he was super hungover but still such a lover. :) He looks super young too! And that was only 41/2 years ago.
Happy 5 years! Can't wait for another 5 and maybe another baby! (Not prego yet).

The last couple of weeks...

Maddie and Grandma

Rendezvous @ High Desert Museum

The Last two weeks have been hectic and there is no time to slow down. We have had Joe's mom up to visit and help babysit. Which we greatly appreciate! Then we had a very fun wedding up at Tetherow Golf Club. My mom just left after a few days... I always hate to see family leave. Since they don't live around us it's especially hard for me when they leave. I want Maddie to remember her grandmas. :) Oh and we went to the High Desert Museum Rendezvous- (hence the cowboy get-up) and we had an older man as us if we were old enough to be there! Goes to show that we were the youngest people there. Anyhow, this week is just as crazy with work, the ghost tree invitational and more work... and our 5 year anniversary! We are very proud that we are hitting the 5 year milestone- some said it would never last! :) We are half way through our wedding season. One more in Bend then off to Denver to see my sister get hitched. Can't wait!

We have been going a million miles a minute it feels like. Starting with the Joe Bellatti BBQ on Tuesday night.... Joe got a signed budweiser OR Ducks mirror... very exciting to all of you Ducks fan's i'm sure. Then Wed. night I had a girls night for miss Kim's b-day and didn't come home till waaaayyy to late for a work night... Then Thursday was Sugarland. Soooo much fun! Joe and I had an absolute blast. They are amazing~! Then Friday went to the fair and watched Lady Antebellum... It was way too hot there for us... we didn't last long! Then Saturday morning up early to spend the weekend with friends at the Mckenzie River!!! Lots of fun but way too hot! I'm really spoiled with AC and find it very difficult to sleep without it.
Anyhow, today i'm cleaning and Joe's mom will be here tom. to visit. :) Hopefully my brain starts to function before work on Weds.

Busy Summer!

Well since the last time I posted for the 4th of July we have been busy little bees! We have been in full swing of birthday parties, baby showers, new babies being born, weddings and now into concert season! Things are getting a little hectic.
Joe's mom is coming up in 2 weeks to help with maddie for a week and then hopefully my mom can come visit in august too... We have 3 more weddings to attend this summer, 3 concerts (Jake Owen, SUGARLAND-my fav, and Lady Antebellum) then onto Ghost Tree and our 5 year wedding anniversary! Then off to see my sister get married in Denver. Can't wait for all the upcoming events.
Thank you to aunt sandy who has been my babysitting savior! She has been watching maddie for us. Even let us go to a wedding and go out afterwards. A much needed night on the town with my hubby.
I had to post the picture of madelyn screaming. She just poured Mazies entire bowl of freezing water off of the counter right onto her head. Yes, i did get the camera before drying her off!

We watched fireworks from the dock... Got lots of sun and ate/drank tons!!! Perfect holiday weekend. Maddie had a blast... so much so that she never wanted to sleep! she has made up for it last night though... slept 12 hours and took a 2 hour morning nap and is about to go down again! Thank goodness because I have lots of chores.

Summer is finally here!

Sorry to all my facebook friends for having to see the same pictures- but most of my family isn't on facebook yet... :)
Summer took a little while to actually get here this year... but I'm happy it finally made it. We will be spending lots of time at the pool and going to lots of gatherings... I love it!!! Super busy but very fun. Here are some photos of us at the pool and a friends b-day bash.
Oh and Joe had to save the little family of ducks out of the pool. The babies couldn't get out. It was very sweet.
The picture with Maddie in the tub in her pj's... she couldn't wait for me to come undress her she just plopped in! Then afterwards she decided to poop on the floor... Needless to say, Mommy wasn't totally thrilled with the experience!

Father's Day, Shiners, Walking and More!

Happy Father's Day to my wonderful Husband! And of course my dad and Joe's dad too. :) We had a very nice father's day. I was a little under the weather...(self inflicted from a bachelorette party the night before) but Joe was great. :) We had a nice breakfast out with friends and then took Harry out to Pastini in the old mill for dinner. It was fantastic- one of my favirote places in Bend.
Madelyn has her first black eye... Under mom's watch. It's not even a really fun story. She had her little A's baseball bat and I was changing her diaper and she whacked the wood letter "M" off of the shelf above her and the corner just landed perfectly under her eye. It bruised instantly. Between the mullet and black eye she looks hot!
Since Maddie's first birthday she has been taking a few steps here and there till the last few days. Now I can say she is walking. She walks about 60% of the time... she can stand up without holding on to anything and motor across the room. It's so cute! But also a little wierd that my baby is walking! I officially have a toddler.
Now the only thing that I would like is for the weather to get better so we can start using our pool membership! Come on Summer....
